It has been shown that maltol significantly reduces the formation of nitrosamines, which can be formed in very small amounts from nitrocellulose. This is truly groundbreaking because it is almost impossible to make a nail polish without nitrocellulose that lasts long, doesn’t chip too quickly, and dries fast enough. Most nail polishes on the market, whether free from harmful substances or more natural, contain nitrocellulose. So we are very happy to have found an ingredient that significantly minimizes the potential formation of nitrosamines from nitrocellulose.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3.
