The Manucurist Top Coat Shimmery Gold gives every manicure a delicate veil of golden shimmer while sealing the nail polish with intense shine. The transparent base keeps the underlying color visible, while ultra-fine gold particles capture the light – from subtle on nude shades to striking on dark colors.

The effect changes depending on the base color: over light nude, pink or milky shades, the gold shimmer looks delicate and elegant; bold red and berry shades gain a warm, almost jewelry-like accent, while over dark colors the sparkle stands out with particularly strong contrast. Even on the natural nail alone, the transparent top coat creates a subtle golden shimmer.

Effect & choosing the right top coat

Top Coat Shimmery Gold is a sealant and effect polish in one. It is not applied over a regular top coat; instead, it replaces it as the final step of the Green™ manicure.

Fine light-reflecting particles in the transparent base settle over the nail polish without concealing it. At the same time, the top coat formula forms a protective film and creates a smooth, intensely glossy finish.

At Blanda, you can choose between three Manucurist Green™ top coats:

Top Coat Gel Like / Sunshine: for pure mirror shine and a gel effect, without visually changing the color.
Top Coat Shimmery Gold: for warm golden shimmer and a luminous, slightly more festive finish.
Top Coat Shimmery Silver: for a cooler silver-colored veil of shimmer.

In short: Gel Like for pure high shine, Gold for warm light reflections and Silver for cool sparkle.

The Shimmery Gold formula consists of 79% ingredients of natural origin according to ISO 16128. Hexanal and vitamin E complement the complex top coat formula, while Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate and other mineral and synthetic effect particles create the fine golden reflections.

Application

First apply a suitable Green™ base coat, followed by two thin coats of the desired Green™ nail polish.
Allow each color coat to dry briefly.
Apply one thin coat of Top Coat Shimmery Gold evenly over the nail polish.
Also seal the free edge of the nail to better protect the manicure from premature chipping.
Then allow it to dry completely in the air – a UV or LED lamp is not required.
For faster drying, you can then use Manucurist Drying Drops.
To remove, place a pad soaked in nail polish remover on the nail for a few seconds, then gently lift it off. Repeat if necessary for shimmer particles.

FAQ

Is Top Coat Shimmery Gold transparent?
Yes. The base is transparent and contains fine gold-colored shimmer particles. The underlying nail polish color therefore remains clearly visible.

Can I use it over any Green™ color?
Yes. Depending on the base color, the gold shimmer only changes the overall impression – from very subtle to distinctly sparkling.

Do I still need to apply Top Coat Gel Like underneath?
No. Shimmery Gold is itself a top coat and is used as the final polish step.

What is the difference between it and Top Coat Shimmery Silver?
Both work according to the same principle. Gold creates warm, golden light reflections, while Silver creates a cooler, silver-colored shimmer.

What is the difference between it and Top Coat Gel Like?
Gel Like is transparent and primarily provides maximum mirror shine. Shimmery Gold also seals the manicure, but additionally adds fine golden shimmer particles.

Can I wear Shimmery Gold on its own on the natural nail?
Yes. On an unpolished nail, it creates a transparent, subtle golden shimmer.

Do I need a UV or LED lamp?
No. The top coat is part of the classic Green™ system and dries in the air.

As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
