The Manucurist Top Coat Gel Like is the classic top coat for an especially glossy and longer-lasting Green™ manicure. The transparent formula seals in the color, smooths the surface and provides an intense mirror shine with a gel effect - without a UV or LED lamp.

One thin coat is enough to make the nail polish visibly glossier and the surface appear smoother. The top coat forms a transparent protective film over the color, making it the ideal finishing step if you want maximum shine, protection and the longest possible wear from your Green™ manicure.

Note: Manucurist also offers the same top coat under the name Top Coat Sunshine.

Benefits & choosing the right top coat

The Top Coat Gel Like combines several functions in one step: It seals the nail polish, enhances shine and helps extend wear. Light-sensitive ingredients react to natural light and help the classic Green™ manicure dry faster in the air.

Top Coat Gel Like / Sunshine: the best choice for maximum mirror shine, a gel effect and longer wear, without changing the color.
Top Coat Shimmery Gold: replaces the classic top coat when an additional fine golden shimmer is desired.
Top Coat Shimmery Silver: provides a cool silver shimmer in addition to sealing and shine.

In short: Gel Like for pure high shine, Gold or Silver for high shine plus an effect. The two Shimmery top coats are applied as the final polish step instead of Gel Like - no additional top coat is required over them.

For the classic Green™ routine, first apply [**Green™ Vitamin Base Coat**](/products/manucurist-base-coat-vitaminee), followed by two thin coats of nail polish and finally the desired top coat.

Application

Apply Green™ nail polish in two thin coats, allowing each coat to dry briefly.
Then apply one thin coat of Top Coat Gel Like evenly over the entire nail surface.
Also seal the free edge of the nail to better protect the manicure from premature chipping.
Allow to dry completely in the air - a UV or LED lamp is not required.
If needed, apply another thin coat after a few days to refresh shine and protection.
The top coat is intended for classic, air-drying Green™ nail polishes.

FAQ

Do I need a UV or LED lamp for the gel effect?
No. Top Coat Gel Like dries in the air while still providing a smooth, high-shine gel effect.

How long does the manicure last with the top coat?
With the complete Green™ system, up to seven days of shine and wear are possible when applied correctly. The top coat can extend the wear of the nail polish by up to three days.

Is Top Coat Gel Like the same as Top Coat Sunshine?
Yes. They are the same classic, high-shine Green™ top coat from Manucurist.

What is the difference between Shimmery Gold and Shimmery Silver?
Gel Like is completely transparent and does not change the color of the nail polish. The Shimmery top coats also seal the manicure, but additionally add a fine golden or silver shimmer over the color.

Do I need to apply Gel Like over a Shimmery top coat?
No. Shimmery Gold and Shimmery Silver are applied as the final polish step instead of Gel Like.

Can I reapply the top coat a few days later?
Yes. Another thin coat can refresh the shine and protection of the manicure.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
