The French Cherry Oil by ODEN is a fine, lightweight facial oil made from French Montmorency cherry kernels. It cares for dry, dull, or loss-of-elasticity-prone skin with valuable plant lipids, leaving it soft, supple, and pleasantly velvety.

The cherries come from Lorraine, where they are grown by a cooperative of around 60 agricultural businesses. While the fruit flesh is further processed, the kernels are collected and cold-pressed. This creates an exceptional cherry kernel oil with omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids that supports the skin barrier and helps the skin retain moisture more effectively.

Cherry kernel oil has an unusually well-balanced composition of omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. While linoleic acid supports the skin's natural lipid barrier, oleic acid provides suppleness and a pleasantly nourished skin feel. It also naturally contains antioxidant tocopherols and other plant-based compounds. The oil therefore combines nourishing care with a fine, velvety texture and is particularly lovely for dry, dull, or loss-of-elasticity-prone skin.

• Omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids provide the skin with important lipids and support its natural protective film. They are particularly valuable when the skin feels dry, tight, or less supple and help preserve its elasticity.
• Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant and helps protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by external influences. At the same time, it complements the nourishing effect of cherry kernel oil and supports a cared-for, vibrant-looking complexion.

Application

In the morning and/or evening, apply 2–3 drops to cleansed, still slightly damp skin of the face and neck and massage in gently.

The oil can be used on its own or, for more intensive pro-age care, combined with one drop of ODEN Rosehip Concentrate. For skin lacking moisture, we recommend applying a hydrating serum underneath; if needed, finish with a cream.
