How to Use

• In the evening, apply with dry hands to a dry face.

Does the balm also remove sunscreen and makeup?
Yes. The combination of butters and botanical oils dissolves oil-soluble impurities such as makeup, sebum and sunscreen. When emulsified with water, these are then rinsed away from the skin.

How does the three-phase texture work?
The balm starts with a rich, jelly-like cream consistency. When massaged onto dry skin, it melts into an oil. With water, the oil phase then emulsifies into a milky cleanser that rinses away thoroughly.

Do I need a second cleanser afterward?
Not necessarily. The Lotus Cleansing Balm rinses away cleanly. For a very thorough evening cleanse or when wearing a lot of makeup and sunscreen, however, it is ideal as the first step of a double cleanse, followed by a water-based cleanser.

Does the cleansing balm leave a greasy film?
The emulsifiers it contains ensure that the oil phase combines with water and can be rinsed away. The skin then feels soft and cared for without a heavy layer of oil remaining.

What is blue tansy?
