The French Lip Balm by ODEN is a minimalist, intensively nourishing lip care product for dry, chapped, or cracked lips. French sunflower, hazelnut, and sweet almond oils nourish delicate lip skin with conditioning lipids, while beeswax forms a fine protective film and helps reduce moisture loss.

French honey complements the anhydrous formula with moisture-binding and softening properties. It smooths rough lips, alleviates feelings of tightness, and supports dry, stressed lips in their regeneration.

The texture melts softly onto the lips and leaves a smooth, well-cared-for feeling without sticky heaviness. The natural, subtly nutty fragrance comes from the plant oils used - no additional essential oils are included.

The French almond care included in the formula is also available pure in French Sweet Almond Oil. For very dry areas of facial skin, The Balm is a richer complement.

Key ingredients

Sunflower oil: This lightweight plant oil is rich in linoleic acid and leaves dry lips supple. It supports the natural hydrolipid film and, together with the richer oils, forms the nourishing base of the balm.
Beeswax: Forms a fine, protective film on the lips and thus helps reduce the loss of existing moisture. At the same time, it gives the balm its soft, melting consistency.
Hazelnut oil: Supplies the lips with unsaturated fatty acids and leaves them soft without a heavy or overly greasy feeling. It also contributes to the formula's subtly nutty natural fragrance.
Sweet almond oil: Rich in oleic and linoleic acids, almond oil is particularly suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It smooths rough lips, improves their suppleness, and supports a pleasant, relaxed skin feel.
French honey: Binds moisture and supports a soft, smooth lip surface. In combination with beeswax and plant oils, it helps provide intensive care for dry and cracked lips.
Vitamin E: Complements the formula with antioxidant properties while also protecting the sensitive plant oils from oxidation.

Application

Take a small amount with your finger and distribute evenly over the lips.
Reapply during the day as needed - especially in cases of dryness, tightness, or rough lips.
Apply a slightly more generous layer in the evening and leave on overnight.
The balm can also be applied selectively to small dry areas of facial skin.
Use within 6 months of opening.

Who is the French Lip Balm suitable for?
For anyone whose lips are dry, rough, tight, or cracked. The rich combination of plant oils, honey, and beeswax protects against further dryness and leaves lips soft and supple.

Does the balm moisturize?
The balm is anhydrous and therefore does not itself supply the skin with water. However, honey has moisture-binding properties, while beeswax and plant oils help preserve existing moisture and protect the lips from further drying out.

Does the lip balm help with cracked lips?
Yes. The rich lipid care smooths rough areas, reduces feelings of tightness, and supports the regeneration of stressed lips. In the case of deep, inflamed, or persistent cracks, the cause should be medically assessed.

Is the French Lip Balm vegan?
No. It contains French honey and beeswax.

Does the balm contain essential oils or perfume?
No. The formula contains neither essential oils nor separately declared perfume. The subtle nutty fragrance comes from the plant oils used.

Can I use the balm outside the lip area?
Yes. ODEN also recommends applying it selectively to small dry areas of facial skin, for example around the nostrils.

Can the French Lip Balm be used during pregnancy?

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
