At the heart of the formula are white and green French clays. Kaolin cleanses comparatively gently and absorbs sebum and residue from the skin's surface; montmorillonite has a stronger absorption capacity and is particularly suitable for skin that becomes shiny quickly and pores that appear clogged. At the same time, the fine mineral particles can remove loose flakes of dead skin, leaving the skin looking smoother and refined after rinsing.

To ensure the mask does more than just clarify, ODEN combines the clays with marshmallow root, spirulina, and phytoplankton. How to use

• 1–2 times per week apply to cleansed, dry skin.
• Mix approximately two teaspoons of powder with a small amount of water directly in your hand or in a small bowl until a creamy consistency forms.
• Apply evenly to the face and T-zone, avoiding the eye area.
• Leave on for 3–5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Important: Do not allow the mask to dry completely on the skin. If you would like to leave it on longer, lightly re-moisten the skin with a facial mist from time to time.
• Follow with toner and facial oil or cream.
• Do not inhale or swallow the powder. Store in a dry place.
• Use within 6 months after opening.

Why shouldn't the mask dry completely?
Highly drying clay can increasingly absorb moisture and lipids from the skin's surface during longer application times, which may contribute to feelings of tightness. That is why the mask should be washed off after 3–5 minutes or repeatedly re-moistened during longer use.

Is the French Purifying Mask also suitable for sensitive skin?
The mask provides intensive clarification and contains peppermint and lavandin powders. Sensitive skin should therefore initially try it for a short time and only on small areas. A less absorbent mask is often more comfortable for dry or very sensitive skin.

Why is the mask formulated as a powder?
