At its heart are 1.7% hyaluronic acid in two molecular weights, fresh aloe vera juice from France, glycerin and organic bamboo hydrosol.

The two forms of hyaluronic acid complement each other effectively: Larger molecules bind water mainly at the skin's surface, creating a smoother, plumper appearance there. How to use

• Apply morning and/or evening after cleansing.
• Distribute one pump over the face and neck and gently massage in or pat in.
• It is particularly pleasant to use after a toner or facial mist while the skin is still slightly damp.
• Then apply a facial oil or cream to supplement the hydration with lipids.
• Depending on your skin type, you can combine the serum with a lightweight or richer ODEN plant oil, for example.
• Use within 6 months after opening.

For all skin types, especially dehydrated skin that feels tight, looks dull, or shows fine dehydration lines. Oily skin can also be dehydrated and benefit from lightweight, water-based care.

What makes the combination of two forms of hyaluronic acid special?
The different molecular weights act in different areas of the stratum corneum. Larger hyaluronic acid molecules hold more water at the surface, while smaller, hydrolyzed forms support hydration deeper within the stratum corneum.

How does dehydrated skin differ from dry skin?
Dehydrated skin lacks water, while dry skin primarily lacks lipids. Both can occur at the same time. The Sérum Hydratant mainly provides hydration; an oil or cream applied afterward supplements lipid care.

Do I still need a facial oil or cream after the serum?
In most cases, yes. The serum is deliberately designed as a water-based hydrating step. An oil or cream applied afterward helps supply the skin with lipids and preserve the bound moisture for longer.

Can the serum plump dehydration lines?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid and glycerin increase the water content of the stratum corneum. This makes the skin look plumper and smoother, and fine lines that become more visible due to dehydration may appear softened.

Is the serum also suitable for sensitive skin?
The hydrating base with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid is generally well suited to sensitive skin. However, the formula contains a fragrance composition of natural origin; very fragrance-sensitive skin should take individual tolerance into account.

Does the Sérum Hydratant contain essential oils?
No. The formula contains no essential oils. However, the current INCI does contain Parfum of natural origin.
