The fine brush lifts lashes right from the roots. Plant-based waxes and film-formers then help them hold their shape. At the same time, the texture stays light and flexible. The result is beautifully separated, lengthened lashes without the need for several thick coats.

VIL also has plenty to offer when it comes to staying power. Its water-resistant formula helps prevent the typical smudging caused by humidity or light perspiration. Instead of synthetic film-formers, as used in many tubing mascaras, UND GRETEL uses ingredients including rice bran wax and plant-based resins. They form a fine film around the lashes and keep the color in place. The mascara can still be gently removed in the evening.

How to use

• Place the brush as close to the lash roots as possible and slowly sweep it upward to the tips. This lifts the lashes and coats them evenly with color.
• One to two coats are enough for a natural look. For more volume and intensity, apply three to four thin coats. Let the mascara dry briefly between coats.
• For the appearance of even longer lashes, apply a little extra color to the tips at the end.

Makeup tip: At the outer corner of the eye, sweep the brush slightly outward rather than only upward. This accentuates the outer lashes and gives your eyes a beautifully elongated shape.

The WINT Mascara is a versatile all-rounder for length, definition, and volume. VIL was developed specifically for a pronounced lifting effect, long-lasting curl, and water-resistant wear. It has a flexible elastomer brush rather than a classic mascara brush and, unlike WINT, is vegan.

Is VIL Mascara waterproof?
No, VIL is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. It stands up to everyday moisture, high humidity, and light perspiration. It is not intended for swimming. However, it is easier to remove in the evening than many classic waterproof mascaras.

Is VIL a tubing mascara?
VIL is a natural alternative to classic tubing mascara. It also forms a fine film around the lashes, but uses plant-based waxes and film-formers instead of synthetic polymers. This provides long-lasting wear and helps prevent smudging. Unlike classic tubing mascaras, VIL is not specifically designed to have its coating slid off with warm water.

Does VIL also add volume?
Yes. VIL lengthens, lifts, and separates lashes, and can also be layered for more volume. One to two coats create a defined look, while three to four coats give a much more intense result.

How do I remove VIL Mascara?
The mascara can be removed with a suitable eye makeup remover or cleansing oil. Give the product a little time to loosen the mascara, then gently wipe it away. There’s no need to rub hard.
