The Vitamin Base Coat is the right choice if your nails are generally healthy and you are looking for a reliable, nourishing base for your Green™ nail polish. It combines the classic functions of a base coat - protection, adhesion and nail preparation - with targeted strengthening care.
One thin coat is enough. Follow with two thin coats of Green™ color polish and finish with Manucurist Top Coat Gel Like. This creates a complete Green™ manicure with intense shine and wear of up to seven days.
Benefits & Care
The new formula centers on patented KeraHCE+ Technology, which combines Hexanal with Vitamin C and Vitamin E. It was developed to strengthen the nail structure while creating an optimal base for color polish.
- Hexanal supports the structure and strength of the nail plate by tightening the network of keratin fibers. This makes the nails more resilient and better prepared for a manicure.
- Vitamin C has antioxidant properties and helps protect the nails from external influences. At the same time, it complements the formula as part of the KeraHCE+ active complex.
- Vitamin E supports the nail surface and protects it with antioxidant properties. Together with Vitamin C, it also improves the conditions for good adhesion of Green™ nail polish.
The base coat is made with 84.5% ingredients of natural origin according to ISO 16128 and is vegan.
Which Manucurist base coat is right for my nails?
The three Green™ Base Coats are tailored to different nail needs:
- Green™ Vitamin Base Coat: the versatile standard base for normal to slightly stressed nails. It protects and strengthens the nail while optimizing the adhesion of Green™ color polish.
- Strengthening Base Coat / Base Force: specially for soft, thin and very flexible nails that bend or fold easily.
- Base S.O.S.: more intensive care for highly stressed, brittle, splitting or already damaged nails.
In short: Vitamin Base Coat for a regular Green™ manicure, Strengthening Base Coat for soft nails and Base S.O.S. for noticeably damaged or brittle nails.

How to use
- First file the nails into shape, gently push back the cuticles, and thoroughly clean and degrease the nail surface.
- Apply a thin coat of Green™ Vitamin Base Coat to the clean, dry nail.
- Allow to air-dry briefly.
- Then apply two thin coats of Green™ color polish, waiting briefly between coats.
- Seal with one coat of Manucurist Top Coat Gel Like. It intensifies shine and helps extend the manicure's wear.
- For faster drying, apply one drop of Manucurist Drying Drops to each nail.
- For the longest possible wear, leave a small gap around the cuticle when applying polish and seal the nail edge as well.
- For removal, use Manucurist Nail Polish Remover Green.

Do I need a base coat with every Green™ nail polish?
Yes, a base coat protects the natural nail and creates a better base for the color. Vitamin Base Coat was specifically designed to support the adhesion and wear of Green™ color polishes.
Can I wear Vitamin Base Coat alone?
Vitamin Base Coat is primarily designed as the nourishing base of the Green™ manicure. If you are looking for a standalone treatment polish with a visible finish, Manucurist's Active™ products are better suited to this purpose.
Can I use Green™ Vitamin Base Coat under Green Flash™?
No. Green™ and Green Flash™ are two different systems. For Green Flash™, you need the special Green Flash™ Vitamin Base Coat, which is cured under an LED lamp.
Do I need a UV or LED lamp?
No. Green™ Vitamin Base Coat belongs to the classic Green™ system and dries in the air.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
